Hi, I’m Mark – an illustrator with a soft spot for mixtapes, bikes, guitars, and all the nostalgic bits that made growing up in the ‘80s and ‘90s feel like magic. I draw things that make people smile – bold, colourful and slightly wonky things that bring back memories and spark joy.

Everything starts with pen and paper. I use brush pens to draw bold black outlines, keeping things loose and full of character, before bringing the drawings to life digitally with bright colours.

I studied Design at Goldsmiths in London and spent years in the world of graphic design, working with agencies and apparel brands across the UK and US. These days, I split my time between running my own print shop and working on commissions – from record sleeves and book covers to kidswear prints and brand identities.

My work has appeared on t-shirts for brands like Boden, Joules, Animal and Crew Clothing, and I love collaborating with people who share my love of colour, character and a sense of fun.

Art’s always been my way of staying upbeat – even when life gets tricky. Everything I make is an attempt to lift the mood and spread a bit of joy.
